Accounting Clerk

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Account assignment and posting of documents.
  • Accounting and calculation of reserves, prepayments and accruals etc.
  • Maintain accounting records and make adjustments to general ledger accounts
  • Prepare tax declarations and reports for internal and external audit.
  • Co-operate with external authorities and institutions (Revenue Office/US, Social Insurance Institution/ZUS, Central Statistical Office/GUS,).
  • Prepare money transfer orders and post bank statement.
  • Confirm and agree totals with contracting parties.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting .
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and  provisions of  the Accounting Act.
  • Knowledge of ZUS (social insurance) regulations currently in force
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle  accounting- and tax-related problems
