Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports.
- Account assignment and posting of documents.
- Accounting and calculation of reserves, prepayments and accruals etc.
- Maintain accounting records and make adjustments to general ledger accounts
- Prepare tax declarations and reports for internal and external audit.
- Co-operate with external authorities and institutions (Revenue Office/US, Social Insurance Institution/ZUS, Central Statistical Office/GUS,).
- Prepare money transfer orders and post bank statement.
- Confirm and agree totals with contracting parties.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting .
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and provisions of the Accounting Act.
- Knowledge of ZUS (social insurance) regulations currently in force
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle accounting- and tax-related problems
